The Saddest Girl In The World Book Review

The Saddest Girl in The World

By Cathy Glass

Genre: Memoir, Autobiography, Fostering

4 out of 5 stars! I really enjoyed this book. It gave a really early look at Cathy’s fostering before she was such an experienced carer. It also showed how fostering affected her children a lot more than other books did.

The story of Donna was absolutely heartbreaking. She had been raised in such a sick and twisted way. It was interesting to get to read about her two brothers, who were also in foster care, and her older sister, who refused to go into foster care. We really got to know the whole family in this story. I’m also so glad that the book includes a number of updates on Donna. Another fascinating read from Cathy Glass!
