I received this book from the author and am voluntarily reviewing it. This is a sweet, romantic chick lit. Robyn is dreading bringing home another artistic type boyfriend- Perry. Robyn’s parents want her to date someone with a 401k and a steady job. Meanwhile, Sidney knows her holidays with be filled with nothing but “talking shop” if she brings home Will, her lawyer boyfriend, to her lawyer dad. When Sidney and Robyn meet, Sidney proposes that they switch boyfriends for the holidays.

Sidney’s boyfriend turns out to be the guy Robyn had a major crush on in high school. All those feelings start coming back. Perry is driving Sidney crazy with his antics. She is shocked by how much he charms her family. The boyfriend swap is starting to look like a bad idea, but it’s too late now!

I liked that all 4 main characters were so different, but likeable on their own ways. The female characters especially learned a lot about themselves and their love lives through the boyfriend swap. I love seeing character development! The story was well-written and definitely kept my interest. The pace was good. Half of the story was predictable, which is pretty typical of chick lit, but the other half was not, which was a welcome surprise. I enjoyed this book and have no real complaints. Would highly recommend to fans of romantic chick lit!
