Genre: Cozy mystery

5 out of 5 chickadees singing! I was given this book and am voluntarily reviewing it. These Jamie Quinn books just keep on getting better! Jamie stumbles upon another mystery when her client’s painting turns out to be a fake, but with a legitimate letter of authenticity. She also gets a job at an assisted living facility to present seminars about wills. As the old people pull her into their drama, she gets closer to uncovering something big about the painting.

This mystery was really well-written and thought out. The foreshadowing and clues were well done. I liked the quirky characters, both old and new. The plot moved at a good pace and kept my interest the whole time. Jamie has a good heart and as a result, the books can have murder and still feel heartwarming. This book definitely left the series open to another adventure and I’m so happy about that! I’d recommend these books to anyone who likes cozy mysteries.
